NEW BRIDGE CLOSURE in LOWER ALLOWAYS CREEK TOWNSHIP
The Road Department has closed New Bridge, County Bridge #1701399 located on New Bridge Road for priority repairs found during the biennial inspection of County major bridges. The County anticipates that the bridge will be out of service for a two (2) month period, subject to weather conditions.
The repairs will be made to replace steel structural members as well as replace wooden plank that comprise the bridge deck material.
The 1902 structure is currently being investigated for replacement.
The project is a joint project with Lower Alloways Creek Township, being administered by the County.
